Mary Applon- Bookkeeping Specialist

Born and raised in San Diego, Mary is no stranger to the importance of elderly care. Where she was introduced to geriatric care in 2014 and remained in that field today. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting, Mary began her career in payroll at the corporate level. During a transition in the job field, Mary had the opportunity to work at a Senior Living facility as an assistant accountant, this was the beginning of her career in the Geriatric care field. Continuing in this field Mary joined Coast Care Partners as a bookkeeper in mid-2018.
Mary spends her free time with her children, relaxing at the beach and restoring her 1966 Cadillac Coupe Deville.
Holli Bennett – Client Service Manager

Holli is a native of San Diego and has over 18 years experience in the senior care industry. She has worked in skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly and she has also marketed for a major ambulance company, but found her true passion working in home care with seniors.
Holli also holds her Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Administrators License with the Department of Social Services and is currently the Vice President of the San Diego County Council on Aging (SDCCOA).
Some of the things Holli enjoys doing is hiking in the Laguna Mountains with her husband Chris, or just spending quality time with her family, which includes her new grandbaby.
Tyler Bowker – Office Manager

Tyler is a Certified Administrative Assistant and started out as a Scheduling Coordinator with Coast Care Partners in August of 2016. She has since then grown her responsibilities into many roles in the office. Her current role is to oversee the Scheduling Coordinators, Recruitment and other Human Resource tasks. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Prior to joining Coast Care Partners, Tyler worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Nebraska.
In her spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with her three children: Austin, Brooklynn, and Lucas, as well as their two dogs (Octavia and Lincoln). She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring new places.
David Chong – Executive Director

David has worn a few different hats in his career, though the one that seems to fit the best is geriatric care. David owned and operated The Park at Mount Helix and founded an Internet-based senior housing referral service, AssistMatch.
As a foundation to his career, David’s most useful degrees are his B.S. in Business Administration from Biola University and his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at U.C. Berkeley. The not-quite-as-practical program was the M.A. in Practical Theology from University of San Diego. At various times he has held licenses in California as an attorney with the State Bar, as a broker with the Department of Real Estate, and as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Administrator with the Department of Social Services. He is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager with the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
David currently serves on the boards of the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary, the San Diego Regional Home Care Council and OASIS San Diego. He is a member of ProVisors and the Estate Planning Council of San Diego.
Some particularly favorite activities have included scuba, backpacking, and basketball (and coaching basketball). When not enjoying time with his Coast Care Partners partners, he can typically be found seizing the day with his wife, Sarah, and his four children.
Pari Ghalebi, RN – Care Manager

Pari Ghalebi has over 20 years of experience in geriatric nursing. As a Registered Nurse, Pari chose the path of dedicating her professional expertise to the lives of seniors. For more than 15 years, she served as a Director of Nursing for three major senior health care facilities in Nashville, Tennessee, and more recently at White Sands of La Jolla. For the past five years, Pari has been applying all her clinical and social care experiences to Home Care Management. She has offered high standards of Care Management to many elderly who have chosen the comfort of their own surroundings with reliable care plans along with a team of kind and responsible caregivers.

Amy has been a practicing Social Worker for 25 years. She earned a BA in psychology from Syracuse University and her MSW from The Wurzweiler School of Social Work/Yeshiva University in New York City. She found her passion working with seniors at her first Social Work internship, providing services for homebound elderly in Manhattan. Amy has worked with chronically mentally ill patients in a day treatment facility, she has been a bereavement counselor at a local hospice, and she has worked with children with emotional and behavioral challenges. She has also been a psychotherapist in private practice.
Amy enjoys hiking, and spending time volunteering in various community projects with her two teenage sons.
Chris Jackson, RN – Care Manager

Chris has been a Registered Nurse for 32 years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Public Health Nurse Certificate from University of New York Regents College. Chris has devoted her clinical career of nearly 30 years to clinical care and management in the Home Care field as a Home Health Director, and Director of Patient Care Services in a large Hospice and Home Palliative Care organization. Her early experience also includes hospital acute care nursing with cardiac and pulmonary patients, as well as work in home infusion therapy, skilled nursing facility care delivery and disease management programs.
Chris found her passion for serving patients and clients in their home environment early in her nursing practice, recognizing the value in optimizing their health, comfort and well being in the familiar surroundings of home.
In her free time, Chris enjoys hiking, yoga, knitting, and spending precious time with family including her two young grandchildren.
Daniel Paris – Recruitment Coordinator

Daniel holds the position of Recruitment Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring a continuous stream of quality caregivers and CNAs located throughout the San Diego County and surrounding areas.
Prior to joining Coast Care Partners, Daniel has spent over 3 years as a Recruiter, then promoted to the Accounts Recruitment Manager, within the corporate healthcare industry. Daniel discovered his passion for serving clients within their home environment after having served as an In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) worker for his grandparents. Daniel thrives into making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Daniel works closely with each caregiver to assist them in fulfilling the credentials needed for the state of California and to be compliant. Daniel makes sure to go the extra mile when recruiting individuals with the skills and experience required to better service our senior clients.
Stephanie Seiler – Program Manager

Stephanie came to Coast Care Partners in 2016 with over 20 years of experience as a paralegal, specializing in medical malpractice litigation and hospital staff privilege issues. As Program Manager at Coast Care Partners, Stephanie manages the Respite Well voucher program with the County of San Diego, as well as our internal “Bring It In” program designed to increase employee engagement and satisfaction. She also ensures that all California requirements governing the
credentialing of Home Care Aides and the licensing of Coast Care Partners as a Home Care Organization are being met.
Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at San Diego, followed by a Paralegal Certificate in Business Litigation from the University of San Diego. When she’s not at the office, you may find her cooking, reading, writing, or spending time on the tennis court with her teenagers, Nick and Charlotte.
Infinity Swaim – Client Services Manager

Infinity brings a background in health and personal relationship coaching to Coast Care Partners’ Client Services team. Her passion for making genuine connections with people is apparent at every consultation. She takes great care to craft a plan with clients that helps elders enjoy their days with less stress, less fear and more meaning and calms the worry and overwhelm of their loved ones.
When she’s not working, much of her free time is spent playing the role of “taxi-mom” or “short order cook” for her four teenagers, or cheering her kids on at water polo or volleyball games. When she’s not busy single-momming, some of her favorite activities are pilates, dancing, trapeze, and cultivating friendships every chance she gets!
Candace Tamayo- Scheduling Coordinator

Candace has over 20 years of scheduling experience. She recently graduated from UEI College as a Medical Office Specialist and is planning to return to school in the near future. She worked as a Caregiver with Coast Care Partners while attending school and was offered to advance with the company as a Scheduling Coordinator. She works alongside our other scheduling coordinator to schedule our 300 caregivers and 100 clients. In addition to scheduling, Candace is our Long Term Care Insurance Specialist, and manages LTC billing for our clients.
She is a San Diego native, born and raised. In her free time you can find her with her husband and kids at the beach, hiking or relaxing at home reading a great book.
Misty Wien, M.S.E – Client Service Manager

Misty comes to Coast Care Partners with over 15 years of experience in building relationships, marketing and educating others in many capacities. Originally from New York, Misty earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications. She worked in marketing for over 7 years within the media industry. Misty then decided she wanted to use her compassion and empathy skills along with her natural ability to teach others to become a special education teacher. While earning her Master’s degree in general education and special education, she taught in the south Bronx for years.
Being drawn by the lovely weather and healthier lifestyle, Misty decided to leave New York and make San Diego her new home. Having a brother that is an elder care lawyer and nursing home administrator, she has always been interested in the field and wanted to enter the eldercare field as well. Since moving to San Diego, Misty has become a Reiki Master, an avid hiker, sunshine seeker and beach enthusiast. She also enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and exploring all the beauty San Diego has to offer.
Misty is excited to be working for Coast Care Partners and is looking forward to helping those who are in need of trusted, reliable, unmatched care.
