Orientation Information

Hello, We are so glad you applied to join our team! We have new shifts available every day and want you to begin working immediately. To begin working, please reserve at least 2.5 hours, attend one of the next interview and information sessions below, and you should be placed into shifts once your state requirements are completed. Here are the next sessions:

Thursday 4pm-6pm at North Inland Live Well Center in Escondido, 649 W. Mission Avenue: This is only for North County Locations.

Tuesday or Thursday 9am-11am we also offer Wednesday 6pm-8pm at our office in La Mesa directions are www.coastcarepartners.com/contact-us/

It is extremely important that you arrive 10 minutes early to your interview and information session time. Please call the office ahead of time if you are running behind (619-354-2544) late arrivals will be rescheduled.

According to California law, you will need these items completed before you can work for our clients:

Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration To register, go to:

https://secure.dss.ca.gov/ccld/hcsregistry/registration.aspx?Action=New

LiveScan Fingerprints You can Google search “LiveScan Near Me” if you have not done this before and use the form provided from your Home Care Aide Registration. Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance Test results are active for two years, unless you received an x-ray clearance which is active for 5 years. If you need to complete a new TB Test, try your Primary Care Doctor, Target Minute Clinics and/or local Wellness Centers.

If you have the above items then bring them to your Interview and Information Session. If you are ready and able, you can start working for us within the next 1 to 2 business days from the moment you read this. In fact, we GUARANTEE that once we hire you we will offer you shifts to begin working immediately (part-time or full-time will depend upon availability). If you don’t have them, then go ahead and attend the Interview, but the sooner you obtain these items the sooner you can work. Some of them can take a few days to be effective and California requires this of all Home Care Aides, no matter where you work.

Items to bring to your Interview and Information Session:

Items from above if you have them (HCA Registration, LiveScan completed form, and TB Clearance)

Driver License (or State ID)

Car registration and insurance, if you have a car

Active CNA Card if you are a CNA

If you’d like to know more about the position or our company, I’d suggest you start here and browse around:www.coastcarepartners.com/caregiving/

NEXT STEPS: Email back to confirm which of the above days you will attend your Interview and Information Session. If you want to impress us and work quickly then complete the legal requirements of HCA Registration, LiveScan, and TB Test. Bring all the documents you have to the Interview. We will pay for the Interview and Information Session once you complete the state requirements and start working for us.

I look forward to helping you get started with Coast Care Partners as soon as possible!

Thank you,

Tyler Bowker; Scheduling Manager
